The manager award categories include UK and European-based single-manager and multi-manager funds with a track record of more than 3 years.
Nominations for all categories are based on annualised performance over a 12-month period from 1st January – 31st December 2023.
The three Credit Hedge Fund of the Year categories are based on performance metrics over the three year period ending 31st December 2023.
Our expert judging panel will have the final input on the Management Company and Credit Hedge Fund of the Year awards, with a majority decision being accepted for the winners.

How do I get nominated in the fund manager categories?
Fund manager nominations are based on pre-selection data provided by Bloomberg and are based on annualised returns over the 12 months from January 1st – December 31st 2023 by funds in their categories. Nominations in various award categories are further split by size and strategy as specified in the award name. How do I get nominated in the service provider categories?
Service provider nominations are based on detailed research by our in-house team and a widespread survey of fund managers. The firms with the most nominations make it through to the shortlist. Self-nominations are discounted.
Is there a cost to nominate myself or my peers?
There is no cost to nominate firms for the shortlist. Self-nominations will be discounted.
What is the deadline for nominations?
The deadline for fund manager nominations is Friday 26th January 2024. The deadline for service provider nominations is Friday 9th February 2024.
When will I find out if I’m shortlisted?
Finalists will be contacted by our team by Friday 1st March. A campaign kit will be provided to share with your networks and winners will be chosen via a voting system. To find out more about the voting process, contact us at events@prviateequitywire.co.uk
How are winners decided?
For the fund manager categories, winners are decided by a majority vote in our readers survey, in addition to feedback from our investor advisory board. For the service provider categories, winners are decided by a majority vote only. All self-votes will be discounted.
When do the awards take place?
This year's Awards take place after the annual Private Credit European Summit on Thursday 16th May at etc.venues, County Hall, London.
